"Choose a job that you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." Confucius
Dr.
Paige: "I have never imagined being anything other than a veterinarian.
Pet Kare Clinic was my first job out of vet school almost 17 years ago and every day I am thankful that I get to do this job and live in such a wonderful place.
I believe veterinary medicine is an art as much as a science.
While the majority of my training is in traditional veterinary medicine, I like to practice integrative medicine as much as possible and have been a certified veterinary acupuncturist since 2004.
Our pets are such an important part of our lives and I love seeing that special bond every day.
My goals are to listen to what you need and help your pet have the longest and healthiest life possible."

Dr.
Susan: "My goal as a practitioner is to hold in my
heart the best interest of every client and every patient. I feel
that there is always more than one right way to approach a case.
If we honor the human animal bond, engage in the true spirit of
compassionate care, and practice the art of progressive and integrative
medicine, I believe that everything else will follow." |
Dr.
Rance: "I am in the profession of veterinary medicine because of my desire to help people by helping their pets. At the age of 12, I set a goal to become a veterinarian because of the positive influence of an "old doc" in Craig, CO. This vet not only made an emergency call to help my family's injured pet, he took the time to comfort a distressed little boy. I never forgot his bedside manner and try to apply that type of compassion to the families of the pets I treat. During emergency situations, I attempt to calmly and clearly convey the options that may exist for each individual pets situation and help owners make a confident treatment decision, under what can be very stressful circumstances. Although I am comfortable handling emergency situations, I like nothing more than examining a healthy athletic dog, a barn mouser, or receiving kisses from a new furry friend. I enjoy being a pet doctor and communicating with the people at the other end of the leash." |
Dr. Cindi: "Animals bring so very much to the lives of their human counterparts. I am so lucky to be able to help enhance those relationships through medical care when given the opportunity, something I’ve dreamed of since I was 10 years old. I strive to treat each pet as my own knowing that every relationship is different and each human and pet has different needs. Pet Kare Clinic has given me the chance to work closely with compassionate, progressive doctors who all honor this human-animal bond. I am truly enjoying my time in Steamboat Springs, a community full of awesome pets (and owners)!"
