Colorado has been life’s backdrop for Dr. Paige since she took her first breath. She was born in Durango, Colorado and grew up in Gunnison. Her path to Steamboat took her thru Colorado Springs and then Fort Collins before finding herself at home in Steamboat in 1995. She graduated with a B.A. from Colorado College in 1990. From there she went on to receive her D.V.M. from Colorado State University in 1995, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Paige’s first & only vet job was with the now retired Dr. Sam Taliaferro in what we all lovingly know today as the Pet Kare Clinic. She has continued her education by becoming certified in acupuncture in 2004. She also received advanced training in dentistry in 2006 and spends up to 2 days a week providing these services. Recently she was beyond excited to add cold laser therapy to the services Pet Kare is able to provide. Dr. Paige lives with her husband(Andy- age unknown) and 2 dogs, Deets(5 years) and Walter(2 years). Dr. Paige lives an active life hiking, biking, skiing and fishing.
